Fall Marbling Takes 2 and 3

I’ve been in a marbling mood lately! This week I did 2 different looks.

Fall Marbled Mani with Burgundy and Gold

This was my first attempt at water marbling. I was aiming for a nice zebra stripe type marble but I couldn’t get a good bullseye so the colors are pretty haphazardly marbled. I used a deep brown with subtle shimmer, a gold that wound up looking yellow, and a deep burgundy color. None of them really spread out well together unfortunately.

This was my Thanksgiving mani. For this one I marbled directly on the nail so I would have more clear color definition than in the previous mani. I painted a base coat of a cream colored polish on the nail and while it was still wet dotted a moss green and the shimmery brown on the nail. I then used a toothpick to swirl the colors together to my liking. If needed I’d dot a little more of one of the colors on and swirl again. I then finished with a clear top coat.
