Urban Decay Electric Palette Swatches

I picked up the Urban Decay Electric Palette recently. I’ve been really needing some bright color in my eyeshadow collection and had been eyeing this for a long time and the Ulta triple point event for Platinum Members was the perfect time to snag it.

The Electric Palette has 10 vibrant shades with 5 mattes and 5 metallics.

The top row shades from left to right are: Revolt, Gonzo, Slowburn, Savage, and Fringe.

Revolt is a metallic silver. It’s so bright! It’s got a silver micro-glitter in it but it’s not a primarily glitter shadow. Of all the colors this is the least pigmented but it’s still incredibly pigmented and I really can’t complain about this one.

Gonzo is a matte turquoise with a bit of a pearlescent finish. The pearl doesn’t come out strongly on me though so it looks pretty matte. This is the shade that goes on the sheerest and that I had to build up the most.

Slowburn is an orangey red which also has a pearlescent finish. The pearl comes out a little better here than with Gonzo but it’s still more matte than anything. I’m absolutely in love with this color!

Savage is a hot pink matte. It’s almost magenta and is amazingly smooth applying! I really like this one.

Fringe is a metallic teal. I wasn’t expecting to love this one as much as I do. It’s highly pigmented and a tiny bit goes a really long way with this one!

The bottom row shades from left to right are: Chaos, Jilted, Urban, Freak, and Thrash.

Chaos is a pearlescent bright blue matte. It has better pigmentation than Gonzo and the pearl does come through with this one.

Jilted is a metallic fuchsia with blue shimmer. This is my favorite shade of the palette! It is highly pigmented, smooth, blends well, and is just an absolute dream!

Urban is a really bright metallic purple. I love this color so much! It’s smooth and shimmery and an absolutely delicious color!

Freak is a bright green with a golden sheen to it. It’s pretty smooth to apply and though it doesn’t appear so in the swatches it’s highly pigmented; it’s just so much lighter than the rest that it doesn’t show up as well on camera comparatively.

Thrash is a lime green with a golden shimmer. I wasn’t expecting to like this shade at all but it’s really growing on me! It’s very smooth and highly pigmented so a teeny little tap of your brush in the pan covers quite a bit.
